Research for Intelligent Investors is an organization that provides affordable,  independent investment research for individuals and institutions on a fee-for-service basis. This research primarily revolves around model portfolios the firm develops containing sixteen equity (stock) holdings each.

     The information provided will help investors to buy, monitor and sell their own investment holdings as they see fit.  It will allow them to create individualized portfolios over which they will retain full control.

     Kirk W. Tofte is a former business owner and stockbroker.  He is also the author of the 2003 book, "Be Principled and Grow Rich."

      Our commitment is to provide investors with independent research on selected groupings of U.S. equities.  Model portfolios will be developed and announced at the beginning of each calendar quarter.
     Additional information regarding the individual stocks within the portfolios  will be provided to investors monthly.  Also,  e-mail alerts will be sent to them on an "as needed" basis. 
      Decisions regarding how to use this information will be left in the hands of the investors themselves.  Finally, questions regarding the research provided will be accepted by "telephone appointments" for an additional fee.
